Peter J. Miller, CEBS, ChFC

Peter J. Miller, CEBS, ChFCI started my career in the insurance industry just about 20 years ago as a group disability insurance underwriter at Unum in Portland, Maine.  From there, I moved to Western Massachusetts as a wholesale rep for the same company.

I always wanted to start my own business, so I left Unum in 1999 to start Successful Benefits Plans, a group insurance brokerage firm with one employee-me.  Shortly thereafter, I met Cheryl, and together we launched MillBrook Benefits.  Since then, we’ve been helping about 200 corporate clients design, implement, and administer their employee benefits plans.

The thing I enjoy most about this business is the excellent relationships
we’ve developed over the years with so many of our clients.  We’re very
proud of the service we provide for them, but it’s the relationships
that make this such a great place to work.

 

Cheryl A. Brooks

Cheryl A. BrooksI have been involved in various aspects of the insurance and financial services industry for most of my career.  As a native of Western Massachusetts, it has been my privilege to live and work in the community that I love.  What I have valued most along the way has been the relationships that I have been able to create with my clients.  These relationships have been established based on trust and honesty.  My client's satisfaction has always been my priority and in turn, I have been rewarded with their support and confidence.

For the past 10 years I have been a partner in MillBrook Benefits and Insurance Services.  Through this partnership we have been able to
expand the products and services to meet the needs of our clients.

Sally D. Felix, Office ManagerHi!  I have been working at MillBrook Benefits and Insurance Services since 2003.  I have over 15 years experience working in the administrative field with an extensive background in customer service, marketing, and accounting.  As Office Manager, I am responsible for the day to day business and financial operations of our office.  In addition to my managerial responsibilities, I also process the applications for our individual life, disability, and financial services products.  I really value the atmosphere of a small business environment, in which I’m able to offer personal attention to each of our clients.  I especially value the relationships I’ve made over the years.

 

Kristen Beturne, Client Services Associate

Kristen Beturne, Client Services AssociateI joined Millbrook Benefits in 2009, bringing over 19 years of experience in the insurance industry. My career began at Monarch Life Insurance in 1991, in a unit that later became part of Merrill Lynch. While there, I held several positions including CSR, Team Leader, and Claims Analyst. After Merrill Lynch relocated this division, I worked for a local insurance agency, where I handled employee benefits, retirement, and individual insurance accounts. During this time, I obtained a MA Producer’s Health and Life License.

On a personal note, I grew up in this area and earned a B.A. from Smith College. I currently live in East Longmeadow with my husband and two sons. I enjoy working at MillBrook because Cheryl and Pete have created an environment that emphasizes customer service and teamwork.

 

Vonetta Walker, Client Services Associate

Vonetta Walker, Client Services AssociateI have been an employee at MillBrook Benefits since 2007.  I came to MillBrook with 10 years of history in the health insurance industry with experience in customer service, claims adjustments, accounts payable/receivable, and stop loss adjustments.  Presently, I am a client services associate responsible for group insurance renewals, day to day customer service, presentation preparation, and making sure our clients and their employees are happy.
